Supporting Our Region's Producers

Orchard Mulching Trial
Field Day
Creston, July 22

How will mulching cherry orchards improve soil moisture, water conservation and potential fruit quality? We looked into these questions at Quiet Valley Farm in Erickson where Don & Susan Low have mulched two rows of their cherry orchard and are taking regular soil moisture measurements as part of a Farm Adaptation Innovator Project. Learn about the project & the BC Agriculture Climate Action Farm Adaptation Innovator Program.
